The Halifax Mooseheads defeated the Quebec Remparts in a shootout Thursday night, with a final score of 4-3.
Defenceman Matt Murphy scored two goals, with the second coming late in the third period to force overtime.
Timo Meier and Cavan Fitzgerald each had two assists. Fitzgerald made his return tonight after being out with a fractured patella since the second week of the season.
The win brings Halifax’s record up to 15-14-2-1.
The Mooseheads will face off against the Titan in Bathurst on Saturday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m..
